Crime statistics on this site are based on police statistics from the Office of General Prosecutor, the authorised state body responsible for collecting and disseminating crime statistics on the crime situation in the country.

The definition of ‘police statistics’ includes crime statistics provided by the National Police of Ukraine, the State Investigation Bureau, the Security Service of Ukraine. the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Office of General Prosecutor.
