Shelling of Kyiv on 26 October 2025: Ukraine’s National Police Keeps Documenting the Aftermath of the Shelling of the Capital
Two dead and thirteen injured: police continue to document the aftermath of the hostile shelling of the capital that took place on 26 October 2025.
In addition to a 36-year-old man whose body was recovered from the rubble in the Desnianskyi district, a 58-year-old man was killed in the same district and was taken to a healthcare facility with serious injuries. Several more victims have been identified, bringing the total to 13.
As of 12:00, the Kyiv police had already received 80 reports from citizens about the shelling.
Multi-storey residential buildings, a kindergarten, an educational institution, shops and vehicles were damaged.
Police and rescue workers continue to work at the scene. The aftermath of another Russian attack against civilians is being dealt with and documented.
