Putin Signed a Decree on Autumn Conscription. 135,000 People Will Be Drafted Into the Army
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the autumn conscription of Russian citizens into military service. The document has been published on the official legal information portal.
According to the decree, conscription will take place from 1 October to 31 December 2025.
A total of 135,000 people aged between 18 and 30 will be called up for military service.
In four regions of Russia, including Moscow, conscripts will only be notified via electronic summons.
